Scheduled
Spire's primary High-Performance Compute (HPC) vendor has a planned maintenance window during the business day on August 6th starting at approximately 7 a.m. US Eastern time. During this time, many of our data products which are produced at this HPC site will be temporarily paused until the system maintenance is complete.
Once the HPC vendor is back online Spire will begin a backfill process to produce the products on a delayed basis, with the goal of having the backfill complete within roughly 18 hours after the system is back online. During our HPC vendor's downtime, Spire’s APIs will continue function and will return the latest data available.
The following data products will experience expected delays in data production during the day (and during the subsequent backfill time) on August 6th into August 7th:
• Global Weather Forecast Model (SOF-D; all bundles)
• Current Weather Conditions
• High Resolution Forecast Model – Europe Domain
• Global SOF-S Forecast Model (all variables)
• Cloud Ceiling Height Forecasts (within the Optimized Point Forecast)
